Raspberry Pi: Prototyping Basics

A Raspberry Pi is a tiny, inexpensive, creditcard-sized single-board & powerful computer that can be controlled remotely and/or plugs into a computer screen or TV, using a standard keyboard and mouse. It is a capable, little device enabling people of all ages to explore computing & learn to program. It is developed with the intention of stimulating the design and development of fun and practical IoT (Internet of Things)-devices. One of the amazing things about this micro-computer, is its ability to be modified, hacked and adapted to different IoT-environments.

In this course you will learn how to set up up the Raspberry Pi environment, get a Linux operating system running, and write and execute some basic Python code on the Raspberry Pi. You will get insight in the conception of some interesting, intriguing and generally cool creations based on the platform.
