SUPERCOLLIDER: Live-Coding for Sound

Supercollider is an open source real-time soundsynthesis program and can be used for real-time, algorithmic composition. In these masterclass, you will learn how to “live code”, improvise with sound/music and build your own interactive program, using different creative methods, advanced sound synthesis and programming techniques within the Supercollider environment.


This course is for:
Intermediate level.
Interested people should have some basic programming experience.

Material required:
All participants should have their Supercollider software installed on the machines, 100% running with sound before the masterclass starts.
This is crucial not to lose valuable time during the classes. You can send an email to  if you experience trouble installing the package. You can check if the sound is working by executing the next procedure:

Test Supercollider instructions:

and then to execute press keyboard
command + enter (mac)
control + enter (pc) 

and then type

control + enter (pc)

If there is no sound, check the debug window for any errors and send it to me by email. If there is sound, your Supercollider is ready.

If you have one, bring your midi controller.
