Learn everything there is to know about 21st century prototyping and production. The course will teach you how to draw in free-to-use CAD applications and prepare you for diving into 3D printing, lasercutting and more at home. It will teach you how to realize your ideas in 3D and advice you on how to scale-up your ideas using freely available tools for lasercutting and prototyping. Throughout the course, solid-body modelling and parametric design will be addressed using Autodesk fusion360 in a series of open-ended assignments. You will learn how to prepare your models for printing and lasercutting using different settings and catered at different results from rapid-prototyping to final product.
This course is for:
Explorer (= beginner)
Basic computer use is helpful (copy/paste etc.)
Your laptop with Sketchup Make and Fusion 360 (30-day trial) installed. Both are freely downloadable from respective websites.
